Tim tebow has many titles: New York Jets Quarterback; Athlete of the âitâ moment; Spiritual guru.
Now he can add Style Icon to that list: The NFL star flashed the cameras in overdrive when he arrived on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute ball on Monday night.
The 24-year-old, clad in a Ralph Lauren Purple Label tuxedo, courageously answered a multitude of questions from reporters, like a media professional, at one of the city’s most high-profile events. Tebow revealed that he spent around 12 minutes preparing for the high-profile event, which is hosted annually by Vogue editor Anna wintour with a different theme. This year’s dinner celebrated a new exhibition titled âSchiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversationsâ. Wintour’s co-hosts: Miuccia Prada and actress Carey mulligan.

Tebow said he was excited to meet Wintour and that he planned to open with: “Nice to meet you?”
He then praised “Wintour’s effect on fashion and what it will continue to do.” It will be exciting. As for the sense of personal style, he is not sure he has it.
âI don’t know. I consider myself blessed to have good people around me who give me good advice most of the time,â said the idol, always polite and healthy, showing off her pearly whites.
Shortly after Tebow arrived, Joy‘s Dianna Agron – wearing a green dress with a long train – made her appearance on the red carpet. Interestingly, the two were linked in the tabloids after having a 10-minute conversation at a party earlier this year. (It was also paired with Taylor Swift.) In an interview with ABC News in April, Tebow said, “Half the rumors, I never even met the people, and I’m sure they would be lovely.”
âI can’t wait to see who will be here and you never know! That’s what’s exciting, âhe added of his first outing at the Met.
