Sodexo Live!, the company that operates franchises at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, is planning a menu featuring a pair of specialty items specifically themed around the college football national championship game between SEC, University of Alabama Crimson Tide and the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Items will be available in multiple locations throughout the stadium’s General Lobby, while team-themed cookies will be served in premium areas.
Other Indy-inspired menu items that will be introduced to the game on January 10 include…
• Indiana Whiskey Sour Pork Wings, featuring locally sourced smoked pork with a whiskey and orange marmalade glaze;
• Heartland Beer Cheese Steak sandwich topped with cheese fondue made with Sun King Brewing beer; and
• A Hoosier Fried Chicken Sandwich with chili cheese on a freshly baked brioche bun.
• Meatless options like bowls of ancient cereal, peppers loaded with vegetable meat and a sweet chili glaze, and several salads will also be on hand.
Invited fans attended a weekend of scheduled Fan Central Playoff events and activities at the Indiana Convention Center, where Sodexo Live! curated new additions to its menus, including the Crimson Tide Dog that will be featured in the game, and a special edition Bulldog Brisket Sliders.
Sodexo live! hosts the CFP National Championship for the third year in a row, following previous editions (held under the unit’s former name, Centerplate) at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans in 2020 and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami last year . Again this year, the company will donate prepared but unused food to local charities, including Second Helpings and Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.
