Reverend Samuel Ikpea prepares for the Qatar 2022 World Cup

The National President of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Ambassador (Rev). Samuel Ikpea has reiterated his unwavering desires to take football support to greater heights, especially at the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

He made this known to reporters during a conversation at the headquarters of Nigeria’s biggest fan club in Surulere, Lagos over the weekend.

Ikpea, who is one of the few global football fan leaders chosen for the World Cup, was honored with the fan memento by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the organization responsible for venues, infrastructure and host country operations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in partnership. with the Qatari Football Association (QFA).

The souvenir he will later don to the admiration of those present includes a jersey, bags, caps, the official World Cup ball and several other interesting items.

A delighted Ikpea said: “It is painful that Nigeria did not participate in the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar, however, the country will be well and proudly represented in the World Cup matches.

“As the World Leader appointed by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, I will not only represent the NFSC, Nigeria and Africa, but also the global fan base. This is recognition for our country. as a premier football nation and of course for the NFSC as the premier football fan club in Nigeria and Africa,” Ikpea said happily.
