Reports: Naruto skin for Fortnite will be available in November
Naruto’s skin has been one of Fortnite’s less well-kept secrets. Fans have been wondering where this famous character has been since he was shown in the Apple lawsuit.
There have been fan and leaker theories, but none have yet proven to be correct. Now that a well-known Fortnite leaker has announced that the skin will be released in November, we’ll have to focus on that date.
Epic is probably aware of the popularity of this character and may keep him for the right time. October was all about Fortnitemares, and while we had a collaboration with Dune, we mostly stuck with horror-themed content.
November is a blank slate, which means it could finally be Naruto month.
News of Naruto’s November release date comes from the Fortnite HYPEX leaker. He keeps repeating that Naruto is coming, and he’s always adamant about it.
âSince a lot of people keep asking me,â he said. “Fortnite x Naruto is coming next month, I PROMISE.”
We’ve been hearing about Naruto for months, so it stands to reason fans won’t believe a thing until they hear it straight from Epic. We’ve been getting little hints about it for quite some time now, even as recently as this update.
It’s hard to say what the exact timeline is for Naruto, but if it arrives in November, as HYPEX claims, it means we’ll have 30 days of speculation ahead of us. We can probably count on an outing on Thanksgiving Day, but it may be too early to confirm.
What indications have we received?
For starters, there is a weapon in development called the Mythic Explosive Kunai, which is a frequently seen weapon in the Naruto anime.
It doesn’t outright confirm the character, but it does seem like he’s related in some way or another. On top of that there are new things being added to Creative that seem to be related to Naruto, so it really feels like it’s only a matter of time.
Keep in mind that Fortnite made us wait a year for Shadow Midas to release, so this could be part of a long tease for some reason. Shadow Midas is finally available for those who want it, and we can only assume that Naruto will follow suit.
For now, we’ll just have to sit back and watch all this teasing unfold in front of us. If the Kunai weapon is real, it looks like there will be some sort of in-game event to commemorate its arrival.
Several skins have been released in the past that were obtained for free by winning a tournament, so maybe we’ll see something similar with Naruto. It could be a special set of rules or something that uses Kunai, or it could just be a regular tournament. This is all just speculation, so we’ll have to wait and see what Epic says.
