Rangers were keen to sign Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United in January and they will surely be interested in his hat-trick on Monday night.
The Gersois were looking for a new winger during the January transfer window.
In the end, Rangers managed to land Manchester United talent Amad Diallo in a deal that didn’t quite work out as hoped.
Diallo was not the only name on the list, as the Daily Mail reported that Rangers were also keen to sign Summerville from Leeds.

If Rangers can offer first-team football, Summerville would surely prefer that kind of challenge to playing over and over again in Leeds Under-23s.
With Daniel James, Jack Harrison and Raphinha all in the first-team picture, it’s hard to see how far Summerville is going to get anytime soon.
After excelling on Monday night, Rangers might be wise to return to Summerville this summer and offer him some first-team action at Ibrox.
